To connect Telegram to Brand Embassy, simply click at the “Telegram” button on your Social Channel settings and choose to create a channel.

It will be necessary to fill the following form:

To do so, login into your Telegram app and click “Open in Web”

Start talking to BotFather

If you don’t already have a bot, create one by typing /newbot. Even though you will create a “new bot”, this channel will sync as a regular channel and not as a Chatbot.

Once you have your bot set up, follow the BotFather steps. He will provide you with an API token.

Copy paste the API token into Brand Embassy’s form.

Once you have done it, your channel is ready to start syncing to Brand Embassy platform. It will be visible on your Social Channel list and your agents may start interacting with customers. :)

Don’t forget to set up the permissions in roles and add the channel to the Intelligent Routing :)
