You can connect Google Play to Brand Embassy to answer your customers' reviews. Click on the “Google Play” button in your Social Channel list and choose to create a new channel.
By following these steps, you will be redirected to this page:
The next step is to go to the Google Play website and find your app. Copy the URL address of your app.
And then paste it into the Brand Embassy form.
Now you need to authorize your channel to sync into Brand Embassy platform.
Click the Authorize button:
You will need to fill the following form:
To do so, go to your Google cloud platform and find your project.
In the APIs & Services / API Library search for the Google Play Android Developer API
And enable it. (make sure to be in the correct Project).
Go to Credentials on API and services. If you do not have Google OAuth 2.0 client, create a new one.
Generate and copy paste the Client ID & Client secret into Brand Embassy
Copy the OAuth Authorised redirect URL available in the BE form.
Paste it into the cloud platform into "Authorised redirect URLs". Press “Enter” after you have pasted it and then click “Save”
The next step is to go to your Google Play Console and link it with the API project.
Lastly, adding users. On your Google Console, go to Users & Permissions.
Invite a new user (the user who will authorize the account in the BE settings)
After being invited, the new user must confirm their invitation.
Once done, click authorize your Google Account. Your channel is set up and ready to start syncing posts into Brand Embassy.
