Let's add automated tags to messages!
First, create the trigger in the trigger part of the settings
Choose event 'before message created'
Then create conditions for the trigger. Use your filters like channels, queues etc.
Choose if you want to use any wildcards and other substitutes by creating regex query.
Regex keywords will always be case sensitive, if you are not using regex you can choose them to not be case sensitive.
You can tag messages based on the 3 following bases:
- It does not match - it will match all other keywords but the ones you specify. Useful to use in combination with other content contains condition for more accurate results.
- message content – any keywords within the body of the message
- content of a text-based plugin – any keywords within the chatbot’s speech bubbles
- subject – any keywords within the subject of the message (email)
Now let's create a job. In the job, section click new and choose the add a tag option. Choose a tag of your need (You need to create it in the tagging section first if you have not already)
Almost there! Add the job to the trigger
And activate the trigger!
Now we are all done and your auto-tagging is set up :)
