You can simply connect your Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram channels to Brand Brand Embassy yourself in a few simple steps.
Click on the top right menu on the screen and go to Settings. In the left menu search for Channels settings and click on Social channels settings. You will see a Social channels screen with buttons representing all supported social channels.
Choose a channel you want to connect by clicking on the relevant button. You will be redirected to the channel specific screen. Follow the instructions on the screen and grant Brand Embassy permissions it needs. Without listed permissions Brand Embassy cannot function at its best and some features may misbehave.
Use case: Adding your Facebook profile
On the social channels screen click on Add Facebook page button. If you are not logged into your Facebook account, you will see a screen prompting you to connect to Facebook.
You can either Add your own channels, this will connect your company's Facebook and allow you to receive and engage all Facebook posts customer send you in a real time.
Or you can Add listening only channels, which allows you to gather live data, such as posts, likes, and comments from any public profile. You will not be able to reply and engage with users on listening only channels.
When connecting any Facebook page, don't forget to grant Brand Embassy all needed permissions. Once you have confirmed all permissions and the connection was successful, you will be redirected back to Brand Embassy.
You will see your newly connected Facebook channel in the list of connected channels. Now turn on Facebook replies to allow engaging customer posts, your replies will show up under relevant posts on your Facebook page. You can turn on Direct messages if you want to engage with customers with direct messages.
To finish the setup, add users who can interact with the channel to the newly connected social channel. Click on the 'plus' button to add more users. Clicking on detail shows you permissions of added users. You can simply edit the permissions to create drafts, send replies, delete posts, approve drafts, and hide conversations per user by checking or unchecking the permission. The 'red cross' allows you to disconnect the social channel.
